Size Guide
Real measurements from the garment laid flat — not a vague "true to size". Here is exactly how big each shirt is.
The one thing to know first
We print on the Comfort Colors 1717: a relaxed, roomy unisex cut that runs about one size roomier than a standard fitted tee (a Gildan or Hanes, say). So order your usual size. Want it closer to the body? Size down. Want the oversized look? Size up.
Every shirt is printed for your order, so we can't take returns for sizing — it is worth thirty seconds here before you check out.
Measurements — laid flat
| Size | Chest width (flat) | Body length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 18¼" · 46.4 cm | 26⅝" · 67.6 cm |
| M | 20¼" · 51.4 cm | 28" · 71.1 cm |
| L | 22" · 55.9 cm | 29⅜" · 74.6 cm |
| XL | 24" · 61 cm | 30¾" · 78.1 cm |
| 2XL | 26" · 66 cm | 31⅝" · 80.3 cm |
| 3XL | 27¾" · 70.5 cm | 32½" · 82.6 cm |
| 4XL | 29¾" · 75.6 cm | 33½" · 85.1 cm |
Chest width is measured flat, one inch below the armhole, across the front — double it for the full chest circumference. Body length runs from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Allow up to one inch of variation; these are cut and sewn, not machined.
How to find your size without guessing
- Take a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of.
- Lay it flat and smooth out the wrinkles.
- Measure straight across the chest, one inch below where the sleeve meets the body.
- Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.
- Find the closest row above — if you land between two rows, take the larger one.
Shrinkage
Garment-dyed cotton has already done most of its shrinking before it reaches you. Wash cold and tumble dry low and it stays put. Hot water and high heat will take roughly half a size out of it.
